Overall responsibility for the efficient operation of The Sydney Institute is our medical director Dr Norman Olbourne. For more than 30 years - Dr Olbourne has conducted a high quality patient -focused practice in Chatswood, with satellite services in Mona Vale, Randwick and Erina Fair. His practice has increasingly begun to focus on the cosmetic aspects of plastic surgery and has culminated in the development of a free standing clinic adjacent to his surgical practice where the latest technological advances are provided to patients needing a non surgical solution to their skin problems.

Damien Smith is our premier skin care therapist. Damien has been in the cosmetic surgery industry for over 20 years and uses her collective knowledge of lasers and cosmetic surgery to diagnose the problems and plan a specific treatment program to the needs of her clients. She has undergone specialised training in each of the therapies at our clinic. She is responsible for the integration of the Rationale® range of skin care products into our programme. This range is of skin care is only available to plastic surgeons and dermatological specialists and is formulated efficiently and effectively to treat each particular skin condition. A consultation with Damien will ensure the appropriate selection and exacting delivery of safe therapy and skin care products tailored to your exact requirements.

Jelena Vucica completed her diploma in Beauty Therapy and joined the Sydney Institute of Skin Rejuvenation after several years' experience. She administers all the medical skin care programs, the Silkpeel® dermal infusion and the Fractional soft tissue laser therapies. She is also expert in permanent hair reduction and photo rejuvenation of the skin with the Starlux IPL system for the treatment of redness (Rosacea), facial pigment problems and facial veins. She has specific training in medical make -up which is a useful adjustment to most of the non-surgical therapies available.
